5/15/18

Today in class Mr. rivers talked about how to use ¨bildungsroman¨ to distinguish between modernism and romanticism and how pre-modernist philosophers like Sigund Freud influenced modernist writing. We were able to distinguish these four sentences from our discussion on 5/14/18 to be either modern or romantic.
1. Adults undermine children, which destroys innocence and the free spirit of childhood. (romantic)
2. Children become adults after a certain age or event that pushes them forward over time.(romantic)
