Today was a good class and it was also my birthday, So happy birthday me. But for real now today's class was about the book The catcher in the rye just like yesterdays class. Although today's class was very different from yesterdays class because we were comparing Holden from The catcher in the rye to Nick from The Great Gatsby We asked which ones we would trust more based off of our knowledge of both characters and a quote from each book about each character. My group decided that we would trust Holden more than NIck just because Holden was more honest with himself whereas Nick was acting like he was better than everyone else. Now to the part where today was a little bit like yesterday. We talked about Holden and how he acts and his mindset. We found that Holden hates the fact that he lies all the time but he cants help it because it is now apart of him. Long story short we got to find out a lot more about Holden and started to rank each character on a scale from good to bad fortune.
